Monroe Central Bands

1. Please go to the NEWSLETTER link at the top to subscribe to the weekly newsletter. Students need to subscribe to the MC Band 2010. Parents need to subscribe to MCBBA. Students will also subscribe to their extra curricular ensembles (parents can subscribe to them also) for information regarding ONLY those ensembles.

2. We need adults to work concessions at Lucas Oil. PLEASE HELP! If every adult in our organization worked 2 events, the GROUP would make $10,000 – $13,000. If we have enough people that want to help, but do not wish to sell alcohol products, those adults can work a NON-ALCOHOL SALES event and still help us earn money. We are contracted for 13 events between August 15 and March 12.  I will post dates ASAP.

3.  Please visit the FORMS link to fill out the student information form. This is contact information for Mr. Briggs to contact students (emergency) and parents along with storing your serial numbers from your instruments for your security. Thank you.

We are scheduled to work the Colts concessions on Sunday, August 15. We need 2-3 more people to help. We have enough adults to run cash registers. Any adult and/or student can come, but cannot run a register without having training. Please contact Mr. Briggs ASAP. We are leaving MC at 7am and returning around 8pm or earlier (depends how fast we clean up the stand). This is a long day, but easy money. We have 13 scheduled events to be posted soon. We need people to sign up to work 2-3 events to keep the same people from returning each time.

Students to work MUST BE 16 YEARS OLD.

The Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School Marching Bears placed 30th out of 49 bands on Friday at the Indiana State Fair Band Day Competition.  The band had a great season, and is already looking toward next summer when they will return to the track bigger, better, and stronger.  The director and staff couldn’t be prouder of the students accomplishments this summer!!
