1/20/2011 – SCHEDULE UPDATE

No guard rehearsal tonight. Guard will rehearse Saturday 10-6.
Percussion and Guard will rehearse Monday, 1/24/2011 at their usual rehearsal times. This is whether we have school or not. The only change would be weather related. See you there.
MAKE SURE YOU TURN IN YOUR SHIRT ORDERS FRIDAY TO THE BAND OFFICE (even though I won’t be there).

Thank you Dana Calhoun for your hard work in organizing the Lucas Oil Concessions. You did great!!!
Thank you for the parents and students that helped at Lucas this year. Through this project, a new trailer was purchased for the band program and some spare money in the general fund. The 2nd trailer will be very handy. Now the percussion can use the large one and the guard will use the small one during winter and both will be used during the summer. Thank you MCBBA for the purchase and Allen Sloniker for setting up the deal.
Finally, thank you to the parents and students that came out to help sell concessions at the county basketball tournament this past week. Your help was greatly appreciated. It was a very busy week, but the boosters profited GREATLY which means the band program is the real winner!!!
