5:15 Dinner @ Taco Bell
6:00 Leave for Gas City Racepark
6:10 Arrive @ GCR – put on uniform
6:40 Warm up
7:00 Perform National Anthem
7:10 Change & load – then watch race
9:00 Leave whether race is complete
10:00 Approximate return time – unload only personal instruments

M – Study Trip form due (grades 7 & 9-12, 8th to get them Monday). Practice cards due.

W – National Anthem band during Activity Period

F – National Anthem at Gas City Racepark – schedule to be handed out Wednesday

Friday, August 26 for the pep band has been canceled. Enjoy your Friday night.
Wednesday, August 31, grade 4-6 Meet the Teacher AND JH/HS Meet the Teacher night.
Friday, September 2 is the Gas City National Anthem performance. We want as many representatives of the band program for this event.
Wednesday, September 14, instrument display for grade 6 and new members to the JH and/or HS band program.
Friday, September 16, 23, & 30, football pep band – 5:30 report!
Wednesday, September 21, Bluffton Street Fair ($525 fundraiser for band boosters).
Saturday, October 15, pep band for Taylor University Homecoming!

School starts tomorrow, August 22, 2011. Lesson plan is to hand out lockers and put room together (one fat guy can’t do it alone today).

Friday, August 26 is our first football game. Please show school spirit and support for the marching band by wearing your PHOBIAS shirt on Friday to school. Call time for the game is 5:30 and wear brown and gold!!!
